Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

By registering for, accessing, or using tagme (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service is operated by tagme Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and tagme Labs.

Section 02

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use tagme. By creating an account you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

tagme is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will terminate their account and delete their data.

Section 03

Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not create accounts for the purpose of harassing other users, impersonating another person, or circumventing a prior suspension or ban.

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible — all your content, tags, and data are removed from our systems.

Section 04

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use tagme to:

Zero Tolerance

Content that sexually exploits minors will result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities.

Section 05

Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on tagme. By posting content, you grant tagme Labs a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to post the content you submit, and that your content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

We do not pre-screen user content, but we reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or its users.

Section 06

Reporting & Blocking

tagme provides tools for you to protect yourself from objectionable content and abusive users:

When you report content, we are notified automatically. We commit to reviewing every report within 24 hours and taking appropriate action, which may include removing content, issuing a warning, or permanently banning the offending account.

Misuse of reporting or blocking tools — for example, reporting content solely to harass another user — is itself a violation of these Terms.

Section 07

Enforcement

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected violation of these Terms. Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, we may:

Account termination decisions are made at our sole discretion. If you believe your account was terminated in error, contact us at [email protected].

Section 08

Face Recognition

tagme uses face recognition technology to suggest tags for people in photos you upload. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

We do not sell facial recognition data. We share it only with our facial recognition processor, Amazon Web Services (Amazon Rekognition), which processes it on our behalf as described in our Privacy Policy — see that policy for full details on how biometric data is processed, stored, and retained.

Consent

By uploading photos of other people, you represent that you have their consent to do so, including consent for their likeness to be processed by our face recognition system.

Section 09

Intellectual Property

The tagme name, logo, and all Service-related software, design, and text are owned by tagme Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

If you believe content on tagme infringes your copyright, contact us at [email protected] with details of the alleged infringement.

Section 10

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any user-generated content.

Section 11

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, tagme Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD.

Section 12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or an in-app notice at least 7 days before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
